Internship Fair – Who’s Going to Be There?

As the final event in our Land the Internship Series, we’ve organized an internship fair to put you face to face with your potential future employers. Open to all mass communications students, there will be a variety of clients from the agency, nonprofit, and corporate sectors. Make sure you bring your résumés, business cards, work samples – come ready to impress!

Time: 11:00 – 2:00 pm

Recommended for: All mass communications students

Dress code: Business casual is recommended

USF Student Government

USF Student Government is comprised of over 250 student volunteers and employees. They are here for you, the student body, to serve your needs and be your voice. USF SG has a variety of paid and unpaid (for credit) internship positions.

Combat Wounded Veterans Challenge

Combat Wounded Veteran Challenge is a Florida based, national non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for our returning American combat wounded and injured military service veterans. They’ve been a client of KnoBull PR for this semester, and now they’re extending internship opportunities to all USF mass communications students!


Joto PR is a public relations agency based in downtown Clearwater. They work with a variety of national and local clients. They’re offering internships in writing, project management, and media relations.

B2 Communications

B2 is a St. Petersburg-based agency that helps manage client reputations and relationships through media awareness, grassroots outreach, content development, message coaching, crisis communications, social media, and more. They’re offering internships in advertising and public relations.

Creative Loafing Tampa

As the third largest newspaper in the Tampa Bay area, Creative Loafing offers readers a valuable alternative to the two mainstream daily publications as well as a website ( that provides up-to-the-minute news, events, video, blogs and more. They are hiring in advertising design, street team and offering internships in marketing and events.

An award-winning Tampa advertising agency, PP+K has worked with clients such as the Tampa Bay Rays, the Florida Aquarium, ASPCA, Metropolitan Ministries, GTE Financial, Unlock Tampa Bay, Bright House, Legoland Florida  and more. They’re offering internship opportunities in digital media.
