If you want a perfect example of the places a PR career can take you, look no further thanFranco Ripple, VP of Cate Communications.
From being a White House summer intern to Florida Governor Crist’s media relations manager, from the Florida Democratic Party campaign’s spokesperson to President Barack Obama’s 2008 election campaign community organizer – he’s worked in politics at all levels. Ripple has also worked on the entertainment side as CBS Radio’s director of public affairs, as well as being a talk show host and producer.
Sounds like a pretty cool guy right? Well guess what! He’s coming to USF PRSSA to share his story and some tips with our members. We’ll also be asking him how to leverage internships that can turn into careers in competitive fields, how to rub elbows with influencers and more!
Pro tip: Get a leg up on your peers by connecting with him on LinkedIn!
Meeting info: October 1st at 7:00 pm, in MSC 2707. All students welcome.
